I created the branding and web presence for the Blanket Statement Project. The Blanket Statement Project teaches people how to knit or crochet blanket squares during conferences. These squares are then incorporated into blankets that are donated to Project Linus.
The branding had to be simple enough to be stitched onto a blanket for the Blanket Statement Project's booth at conferences. It also had to be descriptive and playful to convey the project's goal of having fun while helping people in need.
I created knitting pattern pages for the project, which the owner used to create a blanket square with the logo icon. Photo source.

The project called for a simple one pager that would be easy for the owner to update, as well as easy for users to navigate. The purpose of the landing page was to explain the project while maintaining the brand's fun visual style, and giving users a place to contact the owner with any questions.
The owner has since updated the website for this year's event, but it can be viewed live at blanketstatementproject.com.
